Our area has a playground with a slide, a sandpit, swings and a big trampoline for great playing.

Also the kids could play and craft in our youth club house – especially if its bad weather.

In our outdoor area of the sanatary tract is the solarheated swimming pool. Thats a nice place for relaxing in summer.

The adjacent pergola is perfect for grilling and common events. With the roof its nice at bad weather too.

Sauna

Sauna

 

In our sanitary tract is the sauna and the recreation space. Every saturday afternoon the sauna is on and you can meet many of the members at this point. With an room for drinking coffee, eating cake and talking with other it’s a real meeting point for young and younger at hearts.

Lower meadow

The lower meadow is the small area of memberplaces. At this place you can find the sanitary applications, the swimming pool, the boule place and the club house for children and youth.

The upper meadow borders at the guestmeadow and the playground. At this place you have a wonderful sight to the Westerwald and with nice weather you can see the small Limes-tower too.

Guestmeadow

Guestmeadow

 

The guestmeadow has space for mobile homes, caravans and tents. The eastside has the most hours of sunshine from the morning to the afternoon and the westside is more shaded.

The places have a power connection with 250V and 12A and owner of a tent could use the room of our clubhouse to cook or stay in. Our terrain has a Wifi-Hotspot with season cards for Deutsche Telekom.

Maria Laach

The abbey Maria Laach is a monastery plant of the high middle ages and lays on the southwest side of the lake “Laacher See”. The abbey with six towers is considered to one of the most beautiful buldings of the salian in germany. Belonging to the abbey are the lake (with a camping area, boat hire, miniature golf area and a fisheries), the convent, an organic farm with a organic marked, the Seehotel (hotel at the lake), a huge truck farm, a bookshop and many more. The lake Laacher See is a huge volcanic crater filled with water. It is about one kilometer wide and almost two kilometers long.

The small city Mendig was mentioned in 1041 a.chr. for the first time and is known since the roman times for reduction and processing of basalt. Worth seeing is the museum of volcanism “Lava Dome”. There you can also see the “Lavakeller” (basement of lava).

The city Mayen was already in the roman times an important business location. Especially many of the potterys were known in whole europe. In the southwest of the city lays the Genovevaburg (castle), the landmark of Mayen. Now in the castle plant you’ll find the museum of the Eifel and huge Eifelbibliothek (the huge library of the Eifel). The patio of the castle is known for the anually castle festivalnight, a great known festival for theatre.
