The Loreley is a cliff near St. Goarshausen that has a hight of 132 meters. A legend says, that a mermaid named Loreley, sat on that cliff and sang for the seafarer. The seafarer were so amazed by the mermaid, so that they payed no attention to the currents and they went to ground with their ships. Now its a popular place for everyone, because the sight of the cliffs is spectacular. Also you can visit many concerts and events at the open air stage of the Loreley.
